What’s Up, Relentless Fam?
I hope you had a great weekend!

Have you heard of Matthew Emmons? He was an American Olympic rifle shooter.
Back at the 2004 Athens Olympics, Emmons was leading the men’s 50-meter three-positions rifle event by a wide margin — he only needed 1 decent final shot to secure the gold medal.
He took a breath. Lined up his aim. Nailed the shot!
But then the unthinkable happened…
Matthew accidentally fired at the target in the lane next to his, a rare mistake known as a cross-fire.
Because of that, he scored a zero for the shot and dropped from first place to eighth, losing the gold medal.
This was gutting and became one of the most famous mishaps in Olympic shooting history — a reminder of how intense focus and pressure can affect even the best athletes.

The lesson for us here in Q4? Make sure your eye’s are on the right target this week. Your time is your most valuable resource! Don’t waste it by intentionally or unintentionally focusing on the wrong target. This is your wake up call.
Here’s your mindset this week:
- Locked in to your top Q4 priorities. If needed, talk to a mentor to confirm you are on the right track.
- Bring joy to every customer conversation. Be FUN. Be a human.
- Sell from who you are—not for it
- Ask for the business! Crazy thought 😉.. if you’ve earned the right, be sure to close with a smile and confidence.
Remember: You’re not just here to close deals. You’re here to lead with conviction, perform with character, and represent someone greater – God!
Let’s go win the right way.
STAY RELENTLESS,
—Jon
