First off, I hope you had a relaxing and joy-filled Christmas!
As we approach the final days of the year, I want to pause and express my gratitude. This has been a full-throttle year, and I’m deeply thankful for the Relentless Sales Community we’re building together. Your drive, energy, and commitment inspire me every single week.
2026 is going to be even better so stay tuned!
Today’s message is simple and straightforward. Whether you’re still pushing to close strong or shifting into reflection mode—there’s work worth doing.
1) Still Working? Lock In & Focus on What Matters.
If you’re like me and still have a few days left to grind… Dial in and finish with intention. Ask yourself:
- What exactly needs to be done to hit your numbers?
- How many dollars, cents, or deals stand between you and your goal?
- Who do you need to reach out to, follow up with, or re-engage?
Remember: Your best customers are your current ones. Look there first. And think about what can move the needle? Oftentimes your customers are open to helping, you just need to ask.
2) Already Crossed the Finish Line? Reflect & Take time to Think.
If you’ve wrapped the year, take time to pause, reflect, and think. Most sales professionals don’t give themselves enough space to do this well.
Yesterday, my dad (a.k.a. “Chief”) and I spent time on the back porch reflecting on 2025, discussing leadership, and the road ahead—and it was life-giving! I encourage you to do the same.
Find a friend, mentor, or colleague. Grab a coffee. Dream big together.

3) Capture the Lessons That Will Shape 2026
As you reflect, identify the lessons 2025 taught you. These will become your launchpad for a stronger 2026.
Use this simple 7-part life lens I learned from Dave Ramsey:
- Spiritual – Where did you grow? Where do you need grounding?
- Financial – What worked? What didn’t?
- Career – What momentum did you build?
- Intellectual – What did you learn?
- Fitness – How’s your energy and discipline?
- Family – Did you show up for the people who matter most?
- Social – Are your relationships fueling your growth?
