Happy MLK Day, everyone!
As my pastor reminded us yesterday, I don’t want to breeze past this day without honoring the incredible life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.—a man who embodied so many of the values that make our country great, especially unity.
As we head into a new week, one phrase keeps coming to mind that can help us all elevate our mindset and performance:
Live the Standard.
So what exactly is the standard? One of the guys on my sales team used to play under Coach Dabo Swinney, who’s well-known for saying:
“The standard IS the standard.” 😉
I love that.
It’s not just a catchy phrase—it’s a call to excellence. It’s about showing up, doing your best, and refusing to settle for less than what you’re truly capable of.
Hopefully, you’re knee-deep in strategy mode for the new year and already hitting the ground running.
