Before we dive in, I want to start with gratitude.
This week’s message is inspired by Louie Giglio from Passion City Church and his sermon on 4/19/26. Louie has a profound gift for pulling truth from God’s Word and making it practical for every part of life—including sales. This framework hit me, and I had to share it.
1. Interrogate
2. Investigate
3. Inquire
These come from Joshua chapter 9. God’s people were deceived into a bad agreement. Joshua and the leaders did the first two steps well—they interrogated and investigated the situation.
But they missed the most important step:
They didn’t inquire of God.
And it cost them.
What This Means for Sales
In sales, we ask good questions, analyze the facts, and read people well. That’s interrogating and investigating—and that really important.
But you can do everything right “logically” and still end up making a costly decision.
That’s where the third pillar changes everything.
Inquire
No deal is too small.
No decision is too routine.
Pause and ask:
“God, what do You think?” I need Your help here.
That question invites wisdom beyond instinct or strategy.
The Game-Changer
Most people stop at steps 1 and 2.
Good salespeople gather facts.
Great salespeople analyze them well.
Relentless salespeople inquire of God before they move.
Let’s go win the week, with God’s help—on purpose!
