Good morning, Relentless Fam! How’s everyone feeling today?
Hope you had an amazing Easter weekend celebrating the Good News of Jesus!

Today, we’re talking about something most high performers overlook—Rest.

As sales professionals, we are control our own burnout gauge.

And most of us push it too far (raising my hand).

Q4 grind → straight into Q1 sprint.
No pause. No reset. Just go.

Until it catches up.

Here’s the reality:
If you don’t schedule rest, burnout is inevitable.

Rest isn’t weakness. It’s a competitive advantage.

For me, this works best. Plan 2X per year a time to step away, get to the beach (the beach is my happy place), and unplug.
Because when I come back, I’m sharper, clearer, and more focused.

Rest isn’t just recovery, it’s realignment.

3 Questions to Ask While You Rest (write down if you can).

1. How are my results YTD—really?
Am I on track, or just busy?

2. Is my pipeline real?
Or full of deals that won’t close?

3. Am I focused on what can actually move the needle for the year?
Or am I distracted by low-impact work?

Clarity on What’s Important during vacations creates momentum when you return.

So if you haven’t scheduled a break… I HIGHLY encourage you to do it!

Pull back. Slow down. Rest.

Not because you’re tired,
but because you want to stay sharp and keep focusing on building a successful year.

In sales, the edge doesn’t go to the busiest, it goes to the most productive. Sometimes slowing down helps you accomplish more.

Stay Relentless!
