Happy Monday, Relentless Fam!
As I was driving home from Spring Break with my family this weekend, I listened to a podcast by Ed Mylett (he’s a must-listen , by the way). He said a phrase I couldn’t stop thinking about:
“We get our standards.”
The standards we set for ourselves are exactly what we end up getting—nothing more, nothing less.
It got me thinking about how this shows up in sales, and the difference between average and great:
Average reps don’t spend time planning ahead. Great reps are intentional—they carve out time every week to prepare for the next two.
Average reps sleep in. Great reps get up early and attack the day with purpose.
Average reps “show up and throw up.” Great reps listen, engage, and truly understand their customers.
Average reps hope for results. Great reps are likable, clear, and confident in their asks after uncovering real needs. They take the necessary steps and effort to earn their customers business.
So the question today is simple:
What standard are you setting today? What one improvement can you make this week?
Stay focused on the IMPORTANT this week & Stay Relentless!
