What’s up, Relentless Fam! Welcome to week 1 of May 2006. You hanging in there??
Quick question: What do you do when your momentum slips?
Because whether you’re on fire right now, barely hanging on, or somewhere in between…
momentum is everything in sales. And we can’t wait for it. We have to create it.
Right now, is the time to turn it up our pace (even if you’re crushing it).
If you’re not feeling that urgency, you’ve got to manufacture it. One of the fastest ways?
👉 Create a contest.
If your manager hasn’t launched one, send them this. 😉
If they won’t do create one and complain about budget? Create your own.
Set a BIG goal. Then attach real stakes to it:
- Hit ___ revenue target and → reward yourself with something meaningful (yes, even a big one like a new car)
- Rep/Rookie of the Year or Presidents Club Winner→ celebrate it properly
- Grow ___ % in new business → book that weekend trip
Make it real. Make it exciting. Make it hurt a little if you fall short (and don’t cheat).
Tie your goals to something you actually want.
Then ask yourself:
What do I really want work wise to accomplish right now?
Not surface-level—what actually drives you?
Write it down. Commit to it. And build incentives that force you to follow through.
Don’t let up now.
STAY RELENTLESS here in Q2 (and don’t for get to smile and HAVE FUN!).
