Good morning, Relentless Fam! Happy Monday! 💪

Hope you had a great weekend.

Last week, we talked about it being The FULL Sprint Time, and it absolutely is!

With only 8 days remaining in the month and quarter, it’s time to put an exclamation point on this month if it’s within reach 😉

In sales it’s critical not to leave any opportunities on the table. You never know what the next day, month, or quarter will bring.

And with only 8 days left, it’s critical to focus on what matters most and “parking lot” the opportunities that simply aren’t important right now.

---

I have two thoughts I want you to mull over this week.

1. Raise Your Standards

I heard a quote this week that said:

“You get your standards.”

At first, it didn’t really land.

Of course, you get what you put up with. And I moved on..

But the more I thought about it, the more it hit me:

We get the standards we’re willing to accept. For our personal and professional lives.

And in many ways, we are exactly where we are today because of the standards we’ve set for ourselves.

--

So, where in sales do you need to raise your standards?

  • Maybe it’s taking the time to deeply plan your week so you can maximize your success.
  • Maybe it’s going the extra mile within your accounts to ensure every stakeholder critical to the decision-making process is being properly worked.
  • Or maybe you’ve simply gotten lax in your daily effort.

Only you know.

And only you can be honest with yourself. I’ve found its hard to do this but have had major breakthroughs when I stopped lying to myself.

So, I want to encourage you to raise your standards this week. Intentionally take time to write down where you need to improve and then start doing it.

No one is coming to babysit you

It’s up to YOU, to push yourself and elevate your game 😉

2. Show Up in Your Customers Lives

The second thought I want to leave you with is this:

How are you showing up in your customers lives?

Relationships still matter VERY much.

How intentional are you about keeping up with your best customers and genuinely knowing what’s going on in their lives?

The great salespeople genuinely care.

They show up. They grab lunch.

They check in when there’s nothing to sell (because its not just about selling. Great sales people really do care and give a darn).

They go deeper with their customers than transactional salespeople ever will.

Our jobs and careers are important. Elevating your game and pushing yourself to raise your standards matters.

But every once in a while, take a step back and look up.

We’re only here for a short time.

So, this week, challenge yourself to do two things:

Raise your standards.

Show up in your customers lives.

Do those two things consistently, and you’ll continue creating distance between yourself and the competition.

The time is NOW.

You got this!! 💪
