It’s hard to believe 2025 is nearly over. Whether you’re right on track or playing catch-up, these next 13 weeks are going to fly by.

What you do now will decide how you finish the year and how strong you start 2026!

Step 1: Think Like Your Buyer

Put yourself in your customer’s shoes.
Will they want to dive into new deals or decisions during the holidays? Likely not.

But here’s the thing: it’s not just the holidays themselves — it’s the days before and after that often get swallowed by travel, PTO, or just a general slowdown in momentum. That means your real working window is even shorter than it looks on the calendar (get ahead of the game).

📅 Step 2: Plan Around Holidays — and the “Invisible Days”

Let’s break it down. Here are the official holidays ahead:

  • Thanksgiving week (Nov 24–28) is often a write-off for meetings and decisions.
  • Christmas week + New Year’s week (Dec 22–Jan 2)? Almost everyone is checked out. Projects stall. Emails sit unopened…
  • And don’t forget the day before holidays, when many are traveling or mentally checked out.

Reality check: If you want decisions made, deals closed, and quotas achieved, aim to wrap them up by December 18th.

✅ Step 3: Build Your Q4 Game Plan

Here’s what to do this week:

  • Identify your Q4 revenue or impact goals needed to hit plan.
  • Map backward from Dec 18th to set hard deadlines
  • Schedule key meetings, proposals, or launches now
  • Communicate timelines early to clients and collaborators (inside and outside your org).

The more proactive you are, the more freedom you’ll have when the holiday slowdown hits.

December can be less stressful, festive, and full of celebration — if you handle business now. Q4 isn’t the time to wing it. It’s time to plan smart, execute early, and finish strong.
